Our Story
Making the economy make sense
EconSharp started with a simple frustration: financial news is written for people who already understand finance. We built the daily newsletter we wished existed — one that turns confusing headlines about the Fed, inflation, and markets into explanations anyone can actually follow.
Our Mission
Making economic and financial literacy a daily habit for every student.
Our Vision
A generation of students who read the news and understand what it means for their money, their careers, and their future — before they ever step into the workforce, a business, or a boardroom.
What we do
Every morning before markets open, we send a short newsletter that breaks down the day's biggest economic story, teaches one core concept with a real-world analogy, tracks market snapshots, and highlights the winners and losers. Readers vote in a daily poll and get a small challenge to connect the news to their own lives.
Clarity over jargon
If a concept needs a finance degree to understand, we haven’t explained it well enough yet.
Built for 5 minutes
A quick daily read, not another feed to doom-scroll through.
Made to be learned from
Every issue teaches something you’ll actually remember and use.
Who it's for
For curious kids, teens, and young adults — and the parents who want a way to talk about money and the economy at the dinner table. No finance background required, at any age.
